Early Years Advanced Practitioner Level 4
The Early Years Advanced Practitioner Level 4 is ideal for those who have completed their Level 3 Early Years Educator and wish to progress onto a Level 4 qualification.
This qualification has been designed to support early year’s workers and provides the opportunity to build on existing knowledge and start to develop your leadership and management skills.

If you decide that this qualification is the route for you then it will last for around 7 months. We will meet the needs of both yourself and the employer to deliver on the job training at your placement. On completion of the course you will receive the industry recognised Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner (EYAP) from CACHE.
This L4 EYAP qualification contains five units, which are:
- Enabling children to learn
- Promoting health and well-being through physical activity and nutrition co-ordination in the early years
- Working with other to support children with additional needs, including Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND)
- Working with families and other professionals in early years settings
- Implementing change in an early years setting incorporating a small scale research project
Due to the funding eligibility rules, from the Skills Funding Agency, it is best to speak with one of our advisers, but as a quick guide, based on age:
19+ – This qualification can be funded by the 19+ Advanced Learner Loan, meaning there is no upfront cost and you only start to pay when you’re earning over £25,000 per year.
This L4 qualification doesn’t have entry requirements, although we recommend for this Level 4 qualification that you have relevant experience, have your Early Years Educator Level 3 or are looking to move into a management/senior position within a nursery or early years setting.

All of our qualifications have excellent progression opportunities, once you have completed this L4 Early Years Advanced Practitioner you can progress onto a L5 apprenticeship or undertake the L5 standalone qualification or progress onto a University degree course – our tutors and assessors will help you every step of the way.
