If you decide that this Diploma in Support Teaching and Learning qualification is for you then it will last for around 12 months. We will meet the needs of both yourself and the employer to deliver on the job training at your placement.

Due to the funding eligibility rules, from the Skills Funding Agency, it is best to speak with one of our advisers, but as a quick guide, based on age:
16-18 – This course is no eligible for funding via the 19+ advanced leaner loan in this age group and only as part of an apprenticeship.
19+ – This course can be funded via the 19+ advanced learner loan or as part of the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.
This L3 course doesn’t have entry requirements, although we recommend for this Level 3 qualification that you have a relevant placement in a school either voluntary or paid employment.

All of our qualifications have excellent progression opportunities; once this course has been completed, progression onto a University degree course is a possibility as this qualification has UCAS points attached to it or the Level 4 Certificate for the Advanced Practitioner in Schools and Colleges – our tutors and assessors will help you every step of the way.
